Description
Wave is hiring an Observability Engineer to own and improve the observability platform supporting its Python backend, GraphQL APIs, databases, Kubernetes workloads, cloud and on-premises infrastructure, and async jobs. The role focuses on production behavior, service-level indicators, alert quality, incident response, internal tooling, reliability and performance analysis, and observability standards. It requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of metrics, logging, tracing, profiling, alerting, and incident workflows, and experience with backend languages, observability tools, and Wave’s technology stack. The position reports to the Director of Platform and is remote.
