Description
Glidewell Dental is seeking a skilled Occlusal Splint Technician to fabricate and repair various dental prosthesis and appliances, including dentures, crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, veneers, and implant restorations. The role involves reading prescriptions, communicating effectively with colleagues, utilizing a variety of materials like metals and ceramics, making wax replicas, encasing them in molds, building up ceramic restorations, and finishing appliances. The technician will also perform tasks such as plaster casting, metal casting, die trimming, metal polishing, wax modeling, wire bending, sandblasting, electroplating, electro-spot welding, and CAD/CAM techniques. They must document actions, collaborate with quality control specialists, recognize problematic cases, prepare equipment, and rely on technical knowledge to achieve departmental goals. This position requires basic dental training and prior experience in dental production or related fields.
