Humber Polytechnic is hiring a full-time Occupational Health and Safety Specialist for its People(s) & Culture/OHS team at the North Campus in Toronto, Ontario. The role develops and administers occupational health and safety programs, performs risk assessments and incident investigations, manages hazardous materials and emergency preparedness programs, supports Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committees, administers WSIB claims and related expenditures, liaises with regulators, analyzes incident data, and delivers employee safety training. The position requires a related university degree, at least five years of progressive occupational health and safety experience, and preferably or actively pursuing a safety or occupational hygiene designation.
