Description
The EMT provides routine and emergency occupational and non-occupational medical and first-aid care to workplace partners in Moorefield, West Virginia, under WV EMT Region 8 protocols and the direction of the Occupational Health Manager. Responsibilities include injury and illness documentation, workers’ compensation coordination, drug and alcohol testing, post-offer medical assessments, equipment checks, injury tracking, HIPAA-compliant record handling, OSHA-related compliance, health and safety training, and maintaining medical supplies. The role requires current WV EMT-Basic certification, CPR/First Aid/AED certification, drug-screening and breath-alcohol collection certification, medical equipment proficiency, computer and spreadsheet skills, and knowledge of OSHA and West Virginia workers’ compensation requirements.
