Description
Stambaugh Charter Academy in Youngstown, Ohio is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services for K-8 students with disabilities under IEPs and Section 504 plans. The role includes assessing motor, visual-motor, and sensory-motor skills; participating in special education evaluations and IEP processes; collaborating with families, teachers, administrators, and special education staff; developing and tracking therapy interventions and student progress; designing adaptive equipment; maintaining service records; and supporting professional development and school initiatives. Qualified candidates must hold an Ohio State Board-approved occupational therapy license and an Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services license or registration with the OT endorsement. The school will consider either employees or independent contractors.
