Recognize and question inconsistencies in medical orders or treatment regimen.
Confer with Physician and other Practitioners to obtain additional patient information, suggest revisions in treatment programs and interpret Occupational Therapy treatment with other aspects of patient’s health care.
Communicate effectively between patient, patient’s family, Physicians, and other staff members of the Healthcare Team in evaluation of care to ensure continuity of care.
Plan and conduct lectures and training programs on Occupational Therapy and related topics for medical staff, other health care professionals, students and community groups as delegated.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: Valid license in the State of Nebraska as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
BLS certification
