Description
The Ocean Freight Booking Specialist communicates with clients and pricing departments to identify routes, rates, and carrier options; creates and reviews quotes; books ocean shipments in AS400; coordinates important shipping dates and documentation; arranges trucking when needed; and supports agents, clients, and sales personnel with routing and pricing. The role requires international cargo routing, ocean carrier knowledge, pricing and contract understanding, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, with up to one year of relevant experience preferred.
