Description
CTL Engineering is hiring ODOT prequalified Structures Inspectors for roadway and bridge construction administration, inspection, and testing services in Northeast Ohio, initially on the large I-90 project in Cuyahoga County. The role involves monitoring quality standards, reviewing construction documents, verifying quantities and calculations, inspecting contractor compliance, maintaining project records, notifying contractors or project engineers of nonconforming work, and conducting quality-control testing for concrete, soils, masonry, asphalt, aggregate, and reinforcing steel. The position works independently under a Department Manager, requires frequent travel within the greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio region, and offers mileage reimbursement or a company vehicle. Applicants must be ODOT prequalified Structures Inspectors, have construction inspection experience on ODOT-funded projects, hold a valid driver license and acceptable driving record, and demonstrate the listed engineering, testing, inspection, communication, and project-management abilities.
