Wabtec is hiring a Machine 1 employee at its Grove City location to operate metal-removal machines, including manual and CNC-controlled equipment, perform setups, grinding, inspection, assembly, material handling, and quality documentation. The role requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, or at least eight years of experience; ability to work second or third shift, overtime, and occasional weekends; and adherence to safety procedures. Preferred qualifications include manufacturing, CNC or mill and lathe experience, Lean Manufacturing knowledge, hand-tool and automotive or mechanical experience, crane and forklift operation, and safe lifting procedures. The position pays $30.31 per hour plus shift differential, includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and offers health, welfare, and retirement benefits.
