Description
The Medical Office Clerk performs secretarial and clerical services in an off-site clinical setting, including preparing correspondence, maintaining patient records, screening visitors and calls, assisting with reports and meeting minutes, reviewing patient charts, managing supplies, supporting clerical staff, and helping patients access electronic medical records. The role requires a high school diploma, one to two years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical experience, and preferably additional medical office or secretarial training, an associate degree in a related field, and knowledge of medical terminology.
