Description
The Office Assistant performs comprehensive office administration and clerical duties under general supervision, including preparing letters and memos, maintaining databases and records, compiling reports, managing correspondence, answering routine public inquiries, and operating office equipment. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of typing, word processing, or secretarial experience, and proficiency with office systems, databases, spreadsheets, and Workday. It is a regular 35-hour-per-week schedule in the Department of Public Works, Bureau of Utilities, with possible overtime and an employment background investigation.
