Description
The Office-Based Lab Registered Nurse supports diagnostic and interventional peripheral vascular procedures for outpatients at the Cardiovascular Institute of the South. The role provides nursing assessments, treatment planning, patient education, documentation, sterile preparation, monitoring, and direct assistance at the lab table under physician supervision. It requires an accredited nursing degree, current Louisiana RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, and familiarity with vascular procedures, sterile technique, and radiation safety; cardiology or cardiovascular nursing certification and two years of critical care experience are desired but not required.
