Description
NATO is hiring a Defence Industry Capacity Officer to provide policy expertise and support on the transatlantic technological and defence industrial base, with particular focus on NATO and EU policy. The role develops and coordinates defence-industry policy documents, monitors developments across the Alliance and partner countries, advises committees and groups, and manages internal and external stakeholders. It requires a relevant university degree, at least three years of relevant experience, strong analytical and briefing skills, knowledge of the defence industrial sector and EU policy, and advanced English or French with elementary proficiency in the other. The position offers a three-year definite-duration contract, renewable for up to three years, with possible conversion to an indefinite contract.
