Description
SGS is hiring an experienced Offshore Chemist to support laboratory operations at offshore client sites in the North Sea. The role involves sampling, analysis, testing, reporting, equipment calibration and maintenance, issue resolution, consumable management, and laboratory performance improvement, while following quality, HSE, and client requirements. The position requires offshore oil and gas laboratory experience, valid BOSIET, MIST, and Offshore Medical, and an HNC or equivalent in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline. The schedule is one week offshore followed by four weeks off, repeated, totaling 73 offshore days per year.
