Description
The role is an offshore welding position aboard a Valaris vessel or rig. The employee leads and performs hot work and welding activities, maintains welding equipment, shop housekeeping, materials, spares, and safety standards, and ensures jobs are planned and executed according to Valaris requirements without interfering with well programs. The position also requires hazard identification, Permit to Work and isolation compliance, communication with department heads and stakeholders, and at least two years of offshore experience plus a valid 6GR welding certificate and high school diploma or equivalent.
