Description
The OJT Lead oversees and mentors apprentices and trainees in aviation maintenance training, assigns and monitors work, evaluates performance, coordinates with maintenance supervisors and apprentice-program staff, ensures compliance with FAA and company procedures, and documents training activities. The role requires airframe or powerplant mechanics certification, aviation maintenance or technical operations experience, knowledge of ACS tasks and FAA requirements, strong communication and coaching skills, and the ability to work in office, hangar, and shop environments.
