ICF is hiring an On-Call Software Engineer, Cloud Data Platform to build, enhance, and support a cloud-hosted relational database platform for acoustic-telemetry fish-tracking research in California’s Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta. The role covers data ingestion, relational modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, validation, reporting views, APIs, platform operations, security, monitoring, backups, and support for a natural-language query interface. It is a remote, on-call position with 0–40 hours per week and requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, plus 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with relational databases and cloud data platforms.
