Patch Caregiving is hiring a part-time, variable-schedule on-call substitute teacher to manage a play-based, multi-age care room for children ages 2–12. The role includes leading activities and curriculum, communicating with parents, maintaining records, supporting children with diapering and toilet training, managing challenging behaviors, and collaborating with teachers and the Center Director. Coverage is needed every Thursday from approximately 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and for day shifts during the week as needed at the Middletown, Pennsylvania site. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of lead teacher experience in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting, child development knowledge, and First Aid and CPR certification; compensation is $18–$20 per hour with weekly paychecks and additional benefits.
