Description
The Oncology Registered Nurse provides urgent care and comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in an acute-care setting. Responsibilities include patient and family assessment, care planning, coordination with physicians and healthcare teams, patient education, transitions of care, documentation, safety monitoring, and mentoring new staff. The role requires an accredited nursing school graduate, RN licensure in the state where care is provided, BLS certification, and two years of recent relevant experience; BSN and oncology nursing certification are preferred. The position is full-time, varies in shift, and includes benefits.
