Description

Sutter Health is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to deliver patient-centered pharmaceutical care at California Pacific Med Center Van Ness. This role involves providing medication information, education, preparation, and distribution, ensuring safe and effective medication therapy. The pharmacist will exercise sound judgment, develop clinical skills, and contribute to patient care plans. They will also precept Pharmacy Residents in an accredited residency program and adhere to all regulatory standards.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 3 years recent relevant experience
Oncology experience
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to influence physician prescribing at the service-line level.
Demonstrated skills in managing projects and initiatives which have impact at the facility level.
Must meet qualifications to precept Pharmacy Residents in an ASHP accredited Residency Program.
Knowledge of medical terminology, generic and trade pharmaceutical names, pharmaceutical calculations and laws and regulations.
Knowledge and understanding of different Pharmacy practice settings, including narcotic delivery and procedures.
General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), related pharmaceutical technology, electronic health records (EHR), and EPIC.
Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.
