Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital offers unique nursing traineeships for recent graduates, providing 12-month hands-on experience in oncology. Trainees gain practical knowledge of treating patients with chemotherapy and immunotherapy, along with opportunities for personal development under mentorship. The program includes initial orientation, skills training, monthly peer meetings, and participation in a basic oncology course. Both MBO-V and HBO-V levels are available, with additional interdisciplinary focus for MBO-V trainees. A follow-up training opportunity exists for continued learning.
