Description
The Oncology RN provides professional oncology nursing care in an outpatient clinic, including patient assessment, triage, education, medication and procedure assistance, care coordination, referrals, documentation, and patient advocacy. The role also supports physicians and clinic nursing staff, participates in the STAT Code Team, maintains compliance with Illinois nursing regulations, infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic policies, and requires an Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and oncology-specific chemotherapy/immunotherapy training or certification.
