Description
The Application Engineer provides real-time technical support to customers in the oil and chemical industries, troubleshooting centrifugal and liquid ring vacuum pumps and mechanical seals at customer sites and Flowserve’s repair center. The role covers equipment design, installation, operation, maintenance, failure analysis, repair and replacement recommendations, customer communication, technical training, inventory and engineering data management, and mechanical seal standardization. A mechanical engineering degree or equivalent technical degree is required, while in-plant operations experience is highly desired. The position requires local travel, some overnight travel, physical activity, and applicable site-access credentials, with an annual pay range of $94,967.41 to $142,517.90.
