Hays Electrical Services is hiring an Onsite Project Buyer - Data Center in Houston, Texas, to provide embedded procurement support for large-scale data center construction projects. The role manages purchase orders, material delivery, expediting, supplier coordination, shortages, documentation, and procurement controls from project demand through delivery, while serving as the procurement liaison among field leadership, corporate purchasing and sourcing, suppliers, and onsite logistics. The position is primarily onsite at an active construction or project site and requires 5–7+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in construction, electrical contracting, data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial projects, or a comparable environment.
