Sonic HealthPlus is hiring a Remote Area Registered Nurse for a maximum-term contract through the end of February 2027, with possible extension, based at the Mount Isa Mine Site in Queensland. The role follows a seven days on, seven days off schedule and alternates between the mine site clinic and the George Fisher site. Duties include autonomous nursing, patient triage, vaccinations, phlebotomy, stock monitoring, minor injury management, emergency primary care, and drug, lead, and hydration testing. The position requires AHPRA registration, Advanced Life Support, medical clearance, and commercial driving standards; phlebotomy and immunisation skills are advantageous. FIFO from Brisbane Airport is available, with accommodation provided in Mount Isa and vehicle use permitted.
