Description
1X Labs is hiring a technical individual to originate, develop, validate, and integrate technologies that advance humanoid robot performance. The role is not tied to a predefined roadmap and seeks candidates who can independently identify meaningful capability gaps, build prototypes or working systems, conduct rigorous experimentation, and translate research into scalable product implementations. Applicants should demonstrate exceptional technical achievement through publications, prototypes, venture founding, or complex technical implementation; robotics, AI, controls, sensing, actuation, materials science, manufacturing, neuroscience, or biomechanics are preferred. The compensation range is $250,000-$300,000 plus equity, with medical, dental, vision, paid time off, retirement matching, and other benefits.
