Description

The OpenCPI Senior Software Engineer will join Lockheed Martin’s Gloucester site and work on Defence, Cyber, and Intelligence programmes involving software-defined radio and RF systems. The role covers OpenCPI framework development and integration, RF system design, test and measurement, software optimization, AI/ML and hybrid-cloud technologies, and Agile delivery. Candidates need OpenCPI, RF communications, software-defined radio, digital signal processing, embedded systems, and C/C++ or VHDL experience, with Python also required; eDV security clearance must be obtainable and maintained.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: OpenCPI framework development, including OSPs, components, applications, and tests
RF communications and software-defined radio technologies and architectures
Digital signal processing, algorithm or payload development, and embedded system design
C/C++ or VHDL for embedded applications and Python
Preferred Qualifications: EW or SIGINT capability development, including RF waveform and protocol vulnerability analysis
Familiarity with GnuRadio, MatLab, AMD EDF, or other SDR development tools
FPGA/RFSOC development experience and VHDL or Verilog competency
Commercial and military communications stacks and modem development
AWS and CI/CD environments, especially GitLab and Linux
Real-time test and measurement using vector signal analyzers
