Description
The Operating Room Nurse prepares operating rooms, assists surgeons and anaesthetists, maintains sterility and infection control, monitors patients, manages emergency supplies, cleans and sterilizes instruments and equipment, and supports multidisciplinary teams, training, and quality assurance. The role requires an ODP degree or equivalent, current registration or licence, at least five years of ODP or theatre nurse experience, current ACLS/ALS certification, medical currency, and strong communication, IT, English, and teamwork skills.
