Description
King County’s Facilities Management Division is hiring an HVAC Engineer to operate, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair large-scale commercial heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, steam, refrigeration, and building-control systems. The role reports to the HVAC Engineer Foreman, works in the Building Operations Section, and may be based in the King County Courthouse in Downtown Seattle or relocated to other county facilities. It requires a Grade Three Steam Engineer License, Refrigeration Operating Engineer's License, Universal EPA Technician Certification, two years of relevant experience, and a valid Washington State driver's license or ability to travel throughout King County. The position offers swing and grave shifts, is overtime-eligible, and requires a background investigation and pre-employment physical examination.
