Description
The Engineer III supports the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical building systems in a secure federal facility, including boilers, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and control systems. The role performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance; monitors equipment performance; supports start-up, shutdown, testing, and emergency response; maintains records; and coordinates with facility personnel and contractors. The position requires an active Top Secret security clearance, a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a valid 3rd Class Steam and Hot Water Heating Boiler Engineer License, and 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.
