Fireclay Partners is hiring an Operating Partner, Testing, Inspection and Certification for a per-engagement consulting role supporting M&A and buy-side advisory transactions. The partner provides market intelligence, introductions, operating due diligence, accreditation and regulatory assessments, revenue-quality analysis, and advice on sponsor outreach. The role requires senior leadership experience in a testing, inspection, or certification business, at least 15 years of sector experience, accreditation expertise, and an existing professional network. It is structured as a 1099 independent contractor arrangement with per-deal success fees, optional retainers, and possible equity participation, with remote work from the United States or Canada and minimal deal-specific travel.
