Description
The Oldenburg State Theatre is hiring an Operating Technician (m/f/d) – Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics (m/f/d) on a full-time basis starting 01.10.2026. The role is split between 50% operations engineering—maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting technical systems—and 50% stage technology, including setting up and supervising special-effects equipment during performances and rehearsals. Applicants need completed electrical, elevator, mechatronics, plant, or equivalent training, technical experience, and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or control engineering. The position offers 38.5 hours per week, TV-L pay grade 6 with a theatre operations allowance, retirement provision, and benefits.
