Description

Blue Origin is hiring an experienced Operational Excellence Leader to drive Lean Six Sigma-based continuous improvement across its Lunar Operations. The role leads cross-functional process optimization, KPI development, change and risk management, and influence-based collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management in a complex aerospace environment. It requires a bachelor's degree and 12–15 years of relevant experience, with Six Sigma, Lean, PMP, or equivalent certification preferred/required as specified.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 12–15 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or related roles
Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies in complex operations
Experience in aerospace, defense, or similar regulated industries
Experience managing ambiguous, rapidly changing environments
Preferred Qualifications: Six Sigma Green Belt certification; Black Belt preferred, or Lean/PMP equivalent
Master’s degree in a relevant field
Experience with space systems and lunar operations
Training or teaching experience in process improvement methodologies
Strong facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
