Mountain America Credit Union is hiring a Security Officer for its Mountain America Center in Sandy, Utah. The role is part of a 24-hour security team with varying shifts and may include covering additional Mountain America locations. Responsibilities include guarding employees, members, and the public; providing customer service; responding to emergencies; patrolling on foot or by vehicle; monitoring access, alarms, and surveillance systems; investigating suspicious activity; filing incident reports; and coordinating with law enforcement. The position requires at least three years of related experience, a Utah concealed carry permit or H.R. 218 authorization, and the ability to pass annual firearm qualification; law enforcement or military experience and a criminal justice degree are preferred.
