Description
Southern Company is hiring an Operational Cyber Security Engineer/Analyst to support its Generation Cyber Security Program. The role performs cyber assessments and reviews for generation facilities and industrial control system projects, documents compliance findings, develops technical reports and network diagrams, and participates in NERC CIP implementation projects. It is available in Birmingham, Alabama, or Atlanta, Georgia, with a hybrid schedule of four in-office and one telecommute days, internet access, and up to 25% day and overnight travel. The position prefers a relevant bachelor’s degree, security certification, and experience with ICS/OT security, NERC CIP, NIST SP 800-82, and systems security management.
