Description

Snorkel AI is hiring a Payments Operations Associate to support the compensation lifecycle for its Expert Contributor network. The role owns payment-support tickets, investigates contributor payment discrepancies using data and complex incentive systems, resolves disputes, and builds SQL, automation, and reporting tools. It requires customer-support and payments or finance operations experience, SQL and spreadsheet proficiency, workflow-automation and dashboard experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience. The position offers a target hourly rate of $35–$40 depending on work location, with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
Required Previous Experiences: 2-3 years of experience in customer support, payments, payroll, or finance operations
Exposure to 1099 gig contractor compliance or payment strategy design
Customer support experience handling end-user or customer-facing communications, including disputed payment conversations
Technical proficiency in SQL, Google Sheets, scripting/automation, and reporting or visualization
Experience with workflow automation and reporting or dashboard tools
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of Generative AI data workflows
Experience in data operations, expert networks, or human-in-the-loop systems
