Project Renewal is hiring an Operations Coordinator for its 59th Street Women’s Shelter, a 200-bed, 24/7 emergency shelter in New York City serving homeless women with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. The coordinator supervises Residential Aides on overnight and evening shifts, supports facility operations, serves as lead manager when needed, handles crisis intervention and emergency first aid/CPR, maintains records, trains and orients staff and new clients, participates in case conferences and program improvements, and resolves client issues. The role pays $30.77 per hour and requires relevant behavioral health or substance-use service experience, supervisory experience for one qualification path, specified fire-safety and training credentials, and strong leadership, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills.
