Description
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will manage domestic and international inbound and outbound logistics for a manufacturing operation, including verifying shipments against purchase orders, inspecting freight, tracking open purchase orders, updating internal customers, and maintaining digital inventory records. The role also handles international export documentation, trade compliance, hazardous-material paperwork, and safe forklift and material-handling equipment operation. A high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of shipping and receiving experience, international factory logistics exposure, and familiarity with customs and hazardous-goods paperwork are required; forklift certification and ERP or inventory-management-system experience are beneficial.
