This includes direct management of the Operations Room and Security Escort Teams, developing and updating SOPs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. The role involves extensive operational and personnel management, fostering strong client and internal relationships, and contributing to business development efforts.

Required Previous Experiences: Proven experience in a similar role.
Extensive experience in operational risk management, backed by strong references from senior colleagues.
Proven experience in managing high tempo operational environments.
In depth knowledge of Control Risks’ SOPs, TTPs and operational routines.
Extensive experience in physical security and personnel protection.
Experience in training management.
Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office IT applications.
Fluency in Portuguese language.
Previous experience operating in a hostile environment.
Previous commercial security experience.
SIA qualified.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience of working within Mozambique.
Security and Risk Management qualifications.
Training in recruitment, leadership and performance management.
2 years’ experience as a Control Risks Team Leader.
Broad understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) issues.
Ex British Army SNCO or officer.
