Description
The part-time Operations Director will serve as the tactical lead for backcountry support systems in Montrose, coordinating daily dispatch, resource allocation, fleet oversight, warehouse and laundry logistics, volunteer coordination, and emergency response readiness. The role focuses on mentoring a college intern and developing one or two key leaders while maintaining technical readiness through radio, satellite, GPS, and wilderness navigation. It requires a senior manager or supervisor-level background in high-stakes logistics, with EMS, law enforcement, military logistics, or significant backcountry or expedition management experience preferred.
