SpaceX is hiring an Operations Engineer, Applied AI (Application Software) to partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams on integrating large language models into products and infrastructure. The role involves uncovering team needs, designing technical approaches, building prototypes and proof-of-concept applications, advising on system-on-system architecture, and keeping current with LLM technologies. It requires a STEM or engineering bachelor’s degree, at least one year of engineering or operations/process-development experience, onsite work, travel up to 25%, and Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg.
