Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH is hiring an Operations Engineer – Electrical Engineering for Plant Engineering in its Metallurgy – Plant Engineering – Casting Department. The role ensures the availability and reliability of continuous casting plants, auxiliary facilities, and crane systems; analyzes and eliminates malfunctions; optimizes maintenance and repair processes; leads projects involving infrastructure, controls, models, computing, and network technology; coordinates plant overhauls; and supports occupational health, safety, and environmental protection. The position is based in Salzgitter, Lower Saxony, and requires a degree in electrical engineering and automation engineering, with relevant experience desirable.
