Description
ERCOT is hiring an Ancillary Service and Operations Analytics Engineer to provide electrical engineering analysis and technical support for the planning and real-time operation of the electric power grid. The role focuses on Energy Management System tuning, Load Frequency Control, resource dispatch, system frequency control, generator and renewable resource monitoring, ancillary service quantification, and Nodal Protocol and Operating Guide revisions. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, at least eight years of job-related experience, and is hybrid with on-site work in Taylor, Texas at least two to three days per week.
