Description
Amazon is hiring an Operations Engineer to lead and manage complex cross-functional projects for sortation and distribution solutions. The role owns project lifecycles, coordinates internal teams, vendors, customers, and partners, manages schedules and risks, leads systems and automated equipment design and qualification, and supports installation, throughput, safety, and process improvements. The position requires up to 80% travel and availability to work from a corporate office when not traveling, with candidates expected to live near or relocate to the office. A bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or another STEM field, CAD experience, and at least one year of related project or manufacturing engineering experience are required.
