Lockheed Martin is hiring an Operations Excellence Engineer for its MFC LSS Organization to apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies across engineering, manufacturing, quality, reliability, and supplier-quality areas. The role embeds with functional teams, deploys to suppliers and sites, eliminates waste, defines KPIs, tracks cost savings and cycle-time improvements, and prepares executive briefings. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, 5+ years of progressive experience in process improvement, operations engineering, or consulting, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt-level capability, senior-advisor consulting experience, stakeholder leadership, Secret Clearance eligibility, and 80–100% travel.
