Description

Canadian Natural is hiring an engineering student for a 16-month work term beginning in May 2027. The role starts with four months of hands-on field operations and field engineering at a Conventional operation in Alberta, Northern British Columbia, or Saskatchewan, followed by an office assignment in Calgary supporting Facilities Engineering or Production/Exploitation Engineering. Responsibilities include safety assessments, equipment and production-system monitoring and troubleshooting, well testing, production reporting, facility and asset evaluations, production optimization, reservoir management, project support, technical analysis, reporting, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Applicants must be enrolled in an engineering bachelor's program, preferably Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering, and have strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, safety, and data-tool skills.
