Description
SGS Ecuador is hiring a Cargo Inspector to supervise and verify the loading, unloading, storage, and transfer of fertilizers and other bulk products. The role includes checking transferred quantities, inspecting product condition, monitoring storage and handling, recording inspection data, preparing reports, coordinating with terminal and client personnel, reporting deviations, and ensuring compliance with operating procedures and industrial safety standards. The position requires a high school diploma, at least one year of relevant inspection experience, a Type B driver’s license, availability for rotating day and night shifts, and field work in port terminals under variable weather conditions.
