Description
Xcel Energy is hiring an Operations Instructor to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate operator training programs for non-licensed operators, licensed operators, Shift Managers, and Shift Technical Advisors. The role includes classroom and simulator training, examinations, performance evaluations, training program maintenance, CAP management, plant outage support, and participation in the site Emergency Response Organization. Candidates should have power plant operations expertise, strong communication and presentation skills, intermediate to advanced computer skills, and the ability to meet company and Nuclear Regulatory Commission security requirements. The position offers a hybrid work model, an anticipated base salary of $84,900 to $120,566.66 per year, and a variety of benefits.
