Description
The Operations Lead is responsible for being a procedural and technical expert on Indications and Warnings (I&W) systems for critical space assets, enabling Battlespace Awareness and Mission Protection teams conducting 24/7 operators to succeed in a Space Warfighting domain. They maintain certification and readiness for BSA and Watch Operator (WO) positions, develop Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and assist in course of action (COA) planning. The lead also monitors I&W systems, identifies and mitigates intelligence gaps, integrates new system capabilities, detects threat activity, creates reports, analyzes satellite data, prioritizes collection tasking, participates in space event planning, maintains awareness of high-interest activities, performs contingency tasks, and manages risks.
