Description
The Operations Manager will lead manufacturing operations at the Birmingham, Alabama facility, reporting to the VP of Manufacturing and supervising supervisors, team leaders, and skilled and unskilled labor. The role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, continuous improvement, plant metrics, equipment and maintenance programs, budget management, and operational reporting. It is a full-time position with Monday through Thursday hours from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with evening and weekend work as needed, and requires at least 10 years of manufacturing experience in fasteners or steel products, 5 years of operations-manager experience, and working knowledge of ISO 9001.
